Larry Durstine is director of clinical exercise programmes and a professor in the department of Exercise Science at the University of South Carolina. Since 1976, he has beeninvolved in research focusing on the evaluation of exercise testing and training programmes in healthy and diseased individuals. He has also spent the majority of his career developing and researching adult fitness programmes.
