About the Author

Danny Jensen is a freelance writer and photographer who covers food, drinks, and travel for Time Out, Thrillist, TravelZoo, KCET, and more. While he grew up in Boston and lived in New York after attending Vassar College, Danny has spent nearly a decade exploring L.A. You can usually find him eating at a hole-in-the-wall restaurant or uncovering some long forgotten piece of Los Angeles history. Carrie Kim is a freelance writer and designer who enjoys playing tour guide around Los Angeles. Her favorite day in L.A. is usually one that starts with an early matinee at the Cinerama Dome, extends Downtown for a late lunch, and ends up at one of L.A.'s iconic music venues for a live show. But most of all, she loves learning more about Los Angeles than she knew the weekend before.
