Jeff Dombeck and Karen Bast have spent nearly forty years apiece in the food service industry, working in every environment from country clubs, bakeries, and restaurants to supermarkets and quantity food production facilities. Dombeck has had four years of culinary arts training, highlighted by two years at The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. Bast is a former restaurant owner and has a degree in marketing. They are both joint owners of a successful catering business and also instructors of culinary arts and management at Southwest Wisconsin Technical College.
