Looks so exciting....even the ad for it makes roary look like he's zooming around the place...so much fun. But alas when roary was taken out of the box and his switch was turned on he became a little dissapointing. He has a few classic Roary phrases he says when his little cap is pushed and also when he takes off. Thankfully you can turn this function off while driving which is a plus. But his controller and remote functions are a bit average. You must always be facing him.The controller is not very responsive and sometimes poor Roary will keep going in a direction you are not asking hime to go. He is quite slow and with his slick tires can't go alot of places.Luckly he was discounted quite a bit when I bought him otherwise I would be kicking myself.Still I guess a diehard Roary fan would want him for their collection.

With two levels of battery requirements you are able to have Roary just talk and make noises. He laughs, goes 'vroom, vroom, vroom', says 'I'm a number 1 star!', 'Go, Roary, Go!', and more. Just as a car it is entertaining for a toddler. By adding extra batteries to the car and controller it then becomes a remote control vehicle extending it's life into the pre-school and early primary years also.

These are so great. I got one for a gift and the wee man loved it. So easy to use, he was 2 and sorted it out in a matter of seconds. Good size as well, much bigger than I thought it would have been. I've seen the USA version of the show as well and was glad that the voice was British rather than American, will have to get one for my boys now.

Great Remote Control car for kids with easy to use control. Loads of fun. A good buy.
