Meccano is always good for an active kid and this is no different. This set is actually quite a good one that makes small robots. As always you can make many things out of one meccano set by rearranging the pieces and they are also quite durable. They will need a bit of patience with all the screws but there is a great reward at the end and i would recommend it as a good buy.

A perfect gift - kept the boy entertained for hours. Quality product although definitely not recommended for the smaller children (lots of little pieces)... Cool storage tin too!!

Hi, How can i review the product when i didn't buy this item for myself.I brought it for a child less fortunate than myself . The item was brought for city mission and your website made it possible for me to do so. I am a little concerned that your website doesn't let you know if a customer has donated the gift to charity.

Bought this for my nephew and he just LOVED it. Felt good to buy a toy with a good historial reputation and find that it is just as great as it was in the old days. Lots of fun for busy hands here - definitely stick to the recommended age though as there are a lot of small bits and does require some thought to get everything organised. The tin is really cool too - the perfect gift.
