Unlike many modern board games, this snakes n ladders is a high quality, durable product with a lovely colour and feel to it. I bought it for that reason, but also because I didn't want a Disney-fied version of the game with some heavily franchised characters plastered over it, but something more classic. The hilarious thing about this version is that 'classic' = MORAL snakes n ladders. The action squares have a 'sin'or a virtue (with a little picture) leading to a consequence. Eg conceit sends you down a snake to 'friendlessness', and generosity up a ladder to gratitude. Strange, but funny.
