  • "Bounce" is the keyword on SHOCK VALUE. Even when Timbaland isn't directly instructing listeners (and guest artists) to do so, it's implicit in his frantic bass-lines and hypnotic drum arrangements. As usual, the super-producer's undeniable talents behind the boards make a variety of unlikely collaborations jive perfectly. Timbaland goes from futuristic hip-pop ("Oh Timbaland," "Release," "Bounce") and dance floor R&B ("Fantasy," "The Way I Are") to synth-pop ("Time"), emo ("One and Only"), and sensitive rock ballads ("Apologize").
  • Tim's boy Justin Timberlake shows up on three cuts, including one of the album's tightest ("Give It to Me"), alongside Nelly Furtado. "Kill Yourself," sees Tim throwing verbal shots at rival Scott Storch as only a producer on a battle track can ("I'm number one/You ain't number sh*t/When they need a hit/I'm who they come to get"). Missy Elliot, Fall Out Boy, She Wants Revenge, 50 Cent, Tony Yayo, the Hives, Keri Hilson, Magoo, Elton John, and Dr. Dre all show up out this shockingly eclectic guest list.

Timbaland always teams up with the best current artists to make the best hits on the radio waves. Apart from the obvious hits like "The Way I Are" and "Apologise", the rest of Timbaland's album doesn't fail to deliver the same hit qualities that these songs have.
I was also pleasantly surprised how "un-gangsta" the album was also, thought it would be very hip-hop but most of the songs are really quite pop-y

Wow this album bangs like a mutha F***** Timbaland the super producer brings the beats 2 the table and i am very impressed at what hes has done. Oh Timberland is a great example of a great beat & sampling! release ft Justin timberlake is like sexyback part 2 yeahhhh! Give it to me is a great first single and it features Justin Timberlake & Nelly Furtado! Timbaland takes a stabb at scott storch & Justin timberlake goes at Prince yes thats right PRINCE!

BOUNCE is bound 2 blow your speakers up! and it features Dr Dre J.T & missy elliot! G-Unit join the party on Come and get me sounding like a dr dre beat but it still bangs! timaland also brings his fam out to help on the cd Keri Hilson,D.O.E, Attitude & Magoo all contribute with great effect!

The Curve ball is the rock & hip hop coming 2 gether and im a hip hop head and i must say im impressed! if that wasnt enough elton john makes an apearance WTF dont worry he only on the Piano lol!

Shout out to timbaland hot album! Very creative! only timbaland can pull this off

Bro my brother scored this cd from some place i'm not to sure and man it is the meanest and it booms on the subwoofer in my mates car it is a definet buy any one looking for a club banging cd I suggest you buy this one and you wont be disapointed

OMG love this cd!! my brother got hold of a leaked version off the internet, and it is all we have been listening to for days! there are loads of wicked songs on here, i particularly love "one and only" featuring fall out boy! the mixture of rock and rap really come together nicely, and the lyrics are great!
