Kelly Clarkson's fifth studio album, Stronger features the original American Idol winner on tracks she says were influenced by a mix of Prince and Tina Turner with a bit of a country vibe thrown in. The album follows up her hit 2009 release All I Ever Wanted. Having begun work on the album in 2009, Clarkson collaborated with a handful of writers and producers, including Claude Kelly and Howard Benson as well as Jason Halbert, Rodney Jerkins, and others. Released in September of 2011, Stronger features the single "Mr. Know It All."

Okay, so Kelly Clarkson is a wonderful singer but she's not had it "easy" when it comes down to music writing, her label, and other co-writers for her CD's.
With a very successful first few official releases by Kelly, we thought that she was great, but only made for the pop scene. Then came "My December" where Kelly wrote most of songs & they were actually my favorite collection of hers yet. With My December, we learned that Kelly met much adversity with her label, and was even offered quite a few million dollars to take some of her songs that she wrote off and replace them with hits that were pre-written to be hits. She declined and for good reason. It seemed crazy to me because this CD is what made me TRULY love Kelly Clarkson... I respected her more. I understood her lyrics.
After declining & insisting her written music to stay on the album, there was speculation that the record label sabotaged her album success & her tour, which oddly enough got cancelled for unknown reasons which was meant to promote that CD. Sure enough, that CD was a flop - it's too bad...
Then, Kelly had another issue when she worked with Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic for her single "Already Gone". There was much hype over this track, which people argued that the music was very strangely similar to that of "Halo" by Beyonce. The truth was, Ryan worked with both girls on each song - not cool, Ryan!
After seeing several live performances of Kelly's version, you can see how upset she must've been. She insisted on an immediate music change once "Halo" was released thus resulting in Kelly's version played in a very slow, different tune.
