The Weavers--featuring controversial folk icon Pete Seeger--were a popular 1940s and '50s quartet that specialized in the whole sphere of Amercian folk music. In large part, they helped to launch the late-'50s/early-'60s American folk scene (sometimes referred to as a "revival") that produced Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, and Ian & Sylvia. RETURN TO CARNEGIE HALL is an audio-only DVD-A that captures a remarkable live performance by The Weavers at the legendary New York City concert venue in the early '60s.
