This Is It features the music that inspired Sony Pictures' forthcoming film MICHAEL JACKSON'S THIS IS IT.
Disc one will feature the original album masters of some of Michael's biggest hits arranged in the same sequence as they appear in the film. The disc ends with two versions of the never-released "This Is It." This song is featured in the film's closing sequence and includes backing vocals by Michael's brothers, the Jacksons.
Disc two offers previously unreleased versions of some of the artist's classic tracks. This disc also features a touching spoken word poem from Michael Jackson entitled "Planet Earth" that has never been heard before.
The two-disc This Is It is a stand-alone companion to the motion picture and includes a 36-page, commemorative booklet featuring exclusive photos of Michael from his last rehearsal.

I am a big Michael Jackson and fan love this album so much, it is a great collection of his greatest hits and more. I quite like the brand new song "This is it" and the demos and the poem is great. I got the Souviener Edition and the booklet was great, it has great pictures from the tour. But I feel like they could have added more of his greatest song with where included in the tour. So overall i was quite pleased with this cd and this is a must for fans of Michael.

When you watched the movie, you'll think that you're watching him perform live in stage. He performed well even though they're only rehearsing. You can also see Michael Jackson do all his best to perfect this concert. When I also heard all the songs from the movie, it was like I want to dance. When I received the CD, there was a poem in 2nd CD it's good. I recommend this CD "This Is It" to all fans of pop songs and Michael Jackson.

I absolutely love this cd, but then again, I am a huge MJ fan. I would recommend it to anyone that enjoys his music. The man is a genius. For any of his fans out there, I would recommend you buy his book, Dancing The Dream. Totally awesome. I only hope that Sony will release the movie "This is It" to dvd in region 1, which is this part of the world!
