Viva La Vida was a really strong album. After the less accessible X&Y this was a breeze of air, with enjoyable songs and singles and a proper album length. For some reason I always felt the album seemed kind of incomplete, but then they released this EP some months later. When I listened to it I found what the band was missing from their fourth studio album in the unreleased songs included here. The exclusion of Life In Technicolor II from the LP was a huge mistake. I consider this easily the best song the band ever recorded. Additionally My Feet Won't Touch The Ground and Glass Of Water are also sad exclusions featured here. Should the band had included the 4 or 5 songs included in this EP, the album would've improved a bunch.
