jimmi was the man back in the 60's so ive heard....as a child of 86 i never grew up listening to jimmi hendrix but over the years ive heard some of his real good stuff, and it is real good. My favourite songs off this album are "purple haze" "all along the watch tower" and "foxy lady", these are just awesome songs and when you listen to this album youll appreciate the mastery jimmi had over the guitar. Priceless

There has never been another guitarist like Hendrixs. I could forgive someone for not appreciating his lyrical ability. Sure there are others that are just as good in their own ways, but his ability to express feeling and emotion through his instrument goes beyond what I would have previously called genius. Highly recommended.

This c.d rocks. so many huge songs. He had a short life - 27 years old he died at but in the years he was alive he is the greatest guitarist that ever lived. If you dont have this c.d in your lil collection, you need it cos you are missing out!!

This is the best Jimi Hendrix cd. Jimi Hendrix has got to be the greatest guitarist in the world... but im not so sure about his singing but the guitaring more than make up for it. It has many Jimi classics like Manic Depression, Voodoo Child, Foxy Lady, Hey Joe and my all time favourite All Along the Watch Tower.
