the beatles mono box set.i am a huge fan of the beatles so i love this amazing album it is full of some of their most popular and coolest songs.the beatles are propabaly on of the greatest rock and roll bands in history.i think that anyone who is a fan of the beatles would diffenatly like this album.

Priceless stuff, I'm an avid Beatle fan, so my kids are being brought up on Yellow Submarine and Beatle music. It is clear and definitely the arrangements are brighter and different. Just slowly making my way through the set, and enjoying every minute of this beatlemania.

This collection is absolutely the best sound of Beatles albums ever! I had (and still have) some of the original Parlophone singles from the 60s (when I lived in the UK) such as Paperback Writer/Rain and the stereo versions did not ever do justice to the sound. The riff in PW is bright, edgy and as close as my memory will allow.
The mixes are brilliant and although the later albums are similar (as technology got better) the first 5 albums are unequalled in brightness, attack and bass response.

Well worth the money. The singles collections (Past Masters) are exceptional! If you get a chance to buy (if they remove the 10,000 quota), do it!

More a comment than a review. I ordered this wonderful box set on 15/11/2009 and received it on 20/11/2009 and could not be more impressed with the service, especially the online feedback re payment received, order status and approximate delivery time.
I can only suggest that the person making the comment about not receiving his, have another go before there aren't any left.

The Beatles as they were meant to be heard.
Up until the 'let it be' album, the Mono mixes of all albums and singles were the main versions and the the stereo mixes were of secondary importance. Have a listen to Sgt Peppers album in mono, This is how it sounded when it came out.

This is a close as you can get to how they sounded all those years ago.

A must have !!!

What a fantastic set - superb remastered sound, the Beatles never sounded better!
Then there's the packaging: mini LP reproductions, mono + stereo versions on some CDs, very nice booklet & storage box. Made in Japan quality.
