  • Vollenweider, a Swiss musician, performs on a mechanically altered concert harp. His instrument enables him to counteract the meditative properties of the harp with a strong rhythmic pulse. The results are very low-frequency bass tones in the harp, coupled with an almost orchestral sense of harmony. This very popular album is upbeat, centering and a real delight. ~ MusD

Andreas Vollenweider delivers us a very unique jazz album here. None of these songs are bad, each one requires a huge amount of talent and some of his best songs are on here. The music is very peaceful, while also being very unpredictable. Doesn't really fit any moods, still very good.
