I had only heard "How Great Thou Art" and "Amazing Grace" before I bought this album and was quite surprised to see the strength of the material in this compilation. There's some songs that I reckon could have easily been made hits if pushed and released at the right time in his career. "Swing Down Sweet Chariot" and "By and By" are two examples that have a brilliant r&b and rock feel, and Elvis' boyish 50's voice is still shining brightly with a touch of bass maturity at times, the backup is great and the instrumentation is brilliant. Another example is "Working on the Building"

You really must search sometimes to find some great material by him, or be lucky. Highly recommended album.
