She adores him, too, but when a wealthy neighbor woos her, Catherine's material instincts get the better of her, and she agrees to marry the man. However, Catherine discovers that she cannot forget Heathcliff so easily... and that not even death can make them part...

this was an absolutely beautiful love story, and is a real classic. juliette binoche and ralph finnes were equally incredible, and i just love this movie so much! it would be a real hit with chick flick fans, and also anyone who loves a good drama movie aswel. you may be wondering if its as good as the book? well, movies are rarely as good as the book, but wuthering heights gets pretty near it!
this is one of the most beautiful adaptations of charlotte bronte's haunting and tragic gothic themed novel wuthering heights. ralph fiennes is absolutely spectacular as heath cliff, the wild savage man he portrays leaves nothing to be desires. an excellent film with a gorgeous bleak way of filming, will entertain you for hours
