In the 1970s cult filmmaker Roger Corman produced a series of highly successful "Women in Prison" movies that hit paydirt on the drive-in circuits - and launched the career of Pam Grier (the star of Quentin Tarantino's "Jackie Brown").
They relied on a simple formula: there would be lots of shapely girls busting out of their tight prison uniforms sweating it out in the tropics. The girls would do field work, take showers, and be frequently tortured before breaking out with the guns blazing!
Presented in on DVD collection are all four cult 70s sexploitation films in the series, presented complete and uncut, including the Big Doll House - Grier's first feature - Women in Cages, Big Bird Cage and the Arena.
