I had to get this movie as it was part of my studies at university. Although I thought it was aimed at kids I did enjoy watching and analysing it. What a marvellous film for it's time and it is still a treat, a real movie experience. Judy Garland was incredible, playing the part extremely well and so were all the other cast members. The special edition: bonus disc was a real bonus! and the movie itself had excellent visual and auditory quality. All in all, a great buy.

If you have never seen this movie, then you have been living in a cave. How you got access to internet, I don't know! But anyway, this is one that every family should have on their dvd shelf, it is a true classic, and well worth the money to get a copy.

this was a fantastic classic movie, and judy garland was absolutely amazing. her singing voice was beautiful, so was she, and her acting was to a very high standard. i definitely recommend this to anyone of any age who hasnt yet seen this, (if thats even possible!!) i guarantee this is a movie you will not soon forget! nor will you want to!

A classic that does not need remaking - the orignal portrays it all. The magic and adventure is sufficiently covered. The 'special effects' are believable to a child as they do not go overboard and exceed themselves. Brilliant score - Ruby Garland is a treasure. A must-have for any family.

This is the sort of film that if you're going to buy, you want to get the best one out there, and this 2 disc edition stands up to the test. Loaded with some great extras, and crystal clear on DVD, The Wizard of Oz has never looked and sounded so good.

This is a cult movie now, spawned some great one liners (whenever anyone is being difficult i wonder when the flying monkeys will arrive). The wizard of Oz is a happy movie about a girl that wants to go home, a tin man that want a heart, a lion that wants to be brave and a scarecrow that wants a brain, the need to follow the yellow brick road to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of Oz! Being chased by witches and monkeys, this movie is a classic and an absolute must watch!

Dorothy lives on a farm in Kansas until a cyclone arrives, and picks her, her house, and her dog up and deposits them in the land of Oz. Things in Oz are strange and beatiful, but Dorothy just wants to get back home. She's helped by the Good Witch of the North, but she's also in trouble with the Wicked Witch of the West, who seeks revenge for the death of the Wicked Witch of the East, for which she blames Dorothy.

This is a true classic.The movie which was a disaster in production comes an instant cult favorite.The more I watch it the more flaws I find.Judy Garlands hair seen at times different lengths munchkins hanging themselves from tree tops.Honestly who can ask for more.The cast Judy Garland,Ray Bolger,Bert Lahr,Jack Haley,Frank Morgan and lets not forget Margaret Hammilton.This disk a two parter is a treasure.Watch the extra's then watch the feature.Its a treasure!
