Dawn French plays one of her funniest roles as she becomes the vicar (Geraldine Granger) of the small village of Dibley. As a female Vicar she runs into many funny moments in role as vicar in a small english village. Emma Chambers who plays Alice almost outshines Dawn French as Alice is so funny. The whole show is full of funny characters that are all introduced in the first season.
