this film probably isnt as bad as you think and everybody seems to say. but maybe i sort of enjoyed it because of all the bad reports i heard about it before seeing it. Its just a typical ok sci-fi film, which probably wouldnt have any fans if the sci-fi elements were reomved, but still not hurrendously bad
Extremely average science fiction steals ideas left right and center to the extend that it comes out looking like a patchwork quilt made up of bits and pieces of other better movies. Originally it was to have featured the design work of Alien creater H.R. Giger, which might have added something. Flat and murky at best.
