This superman movie I thought was very much made as a set-up for a possible sequel, as it delves more into the vulnerability of Superman and how human he is in some senses.
A definate departure from any previous superman movies, and I thought a good setup for any sequel to follow.
Although the movie is full of action, you don't really notice it, as it seems that most of the dangers faced by superman are made to seem really easy to handle, so in a way you don't really notice it as much....because hey! he's superman and he can handle anything except of course Kryptonite.
This Superman movie was ok. I would not say that I was blown away by it. I do find it remarkable that they found an actor who looked so much like Christopher Reeves. The movie was just not the same without him though. In all it is an ok movie, I would give it an average three star rating. Leave it for a rainy day when you have nothing to do.
