I quite enjoyed this one. I think that many people didn't actually seem to understand the very basic thing, that the whole movie is based upon what is going on inside the characters head as he is laying on the ground dying. The things that are happening around him in the real world, come together to create a slightly bizarre, confused world inside his mind. I really did enjoy this, and have watched it a few times now.
This is one of those trying too hard to be scary thrillers. The whole plot was boring. I say they could have put a bit more effort in this movie, maybe trying to make it better. But obviously they didn't. Stay, isn't something I would watch again and I don't think it's something to spend money on...
Stay is one of those pretentiously obscure thrillers that thinks it is frightfully clever but is in fact quite transparent. A psychiatrist with a suicial girlfreind becomes fascinated by a moody new client who claims that he is going to kill himself. Strange things begin to happen and it is impossible to care less.
