Yet another musical I ended up watching for a reason I can't remember. But unlike a few other 1930s and 1940s musicals, I didn't think this one was very good (which, being a non-musical lover, means it might actually be pretty bad). The songs weren't great, and the acting was worse - I found this film to be quite static and stiff, never a good thing for a musical. Not very good.
