I think that based on story, excitement and character development, this is one ranks the bottom out of all 6 of the Star Wars films. While the special effects and action were good, the character development wasn't there, and the story was rather boring. Here, Queen Padmé Amidala (Natalie Portman) is now a Senator representing her home planet of Naboo in the Galatic Republic. A faction of political separatists, led by Count Dooku (Christopher Lee), wants to assassinate her. In the mist, Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewen McGregor) continues to train the Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christianson) to become a Jedi, but it is appeared that he will break the Jedi Code and due to his growing love interest with Amidala. What results is poor screen comprehension between Skywalker and Amidala, and this film was too long to be focusing more on the love interest between the two. This film also lacks the charm and zest that the other films have. But, again, the actions scenes were quite good, especially the one between Yoda and Count Dooku. The sceneries were also beautiful, especially the scenes of the Naboo palace-gorgeous landscape and cinematography.
So, this one definitely needs more of the Force.

Attack of the Clones is a visually impressive, but rather bland fifth entry into the Star Wars saga. It does have its moments – particularly good is the arena scene. Also worth noting is the return of C3PO in a more substantial role, adding some fine slapstick with R2D2 (not the tiresome variety that Jar Jar Binks provided in The Phantom Menace).

I thought that Star Wars Two: Attack of the Clones was the best of the three later Star Wars movies. I felt that everything started to come together in this movie, and that some of the story was starting to make sense. The new characters were certainly really starting to own their characteizations, and the acting was better than the first movie. Still nothing of the charm of the original star wars movies.

Great graphics and fight scenes. I think the clones were cool and i started to get everything and things fell into place. Another great star wars film that would be a good one to buy. It was really cool to watch yodr fight and do flips and stuff, he is an ausum green man.

Attack of the Clones is infinitely better than Episode I in the series, but when compared to the original movies, its still falls short of their greatness. The casting of Anakin Skywalker if especially iffy - the originals didn't have great acting, sure, but they were damn fun to watch, whereas Hayden Christensen's acting just makes you want to cringe. Where the film does succeed is in its action sequences, such as the great hovercar chase at the start, right through to the explosive Jedi vs. robot army battle at the end.

Ten years after the 'Phantom Menace' threatened the planet Naboo, Padmé Amidala is now a Senator representing her homeworld. A faction of political separatists, led by Count Dooku, attempts to assassinate her. There aren't enough Jedi to defend the Republic against the threat, so Chancellor Palpatine enlists the aid of Jango Fett, who promises that his army of clones will handle the situation. Meanwhile, Obi-Wan Kenobi continues to train the young Jedi Anakin Skywalker, who fears that the Jedi code will forbid his growing romance with Amidala...

Yeah...I didn't enjoy this one much. My favourite character has always been Obi Wan Kenobi, and Ewan Mcgregor does an excellent job of portraying him in this movie, but I dislike Anakin very much, who went from a cute little kid to an arrogant idiot who doesn't really give a toss about anyone. I know this is supposed to be the start of his fall into darkness, and the producers have handled that quite nicely, but his arrogant manner kind of ruins the whole movie a bit for me. A nice one for fans though.

This is a nice followup of episode one, attack of the clones has a few kiwi actors in it, its real funny when you watch movies and see kiwis in them, but your still proud to be a kiwi, anyways, i like temuera in this film and his little son, theyre real staunch in the movie and i like seeing how ani starts to turn dark, this is where it all goes downhill for him...one hell of a movie.
