Really a great movie for all the family. This story is fun, engaging, and a little off-beat. It is fun to watch, even as a parent, but it is truely magical for the kids that watch it too. A twist on the classic 'fairy godmother' type tale, it is sure to please. Worth watching.

cute movie!! stars that lovely girl from matilda, who really shines. she should really be more popular than she is, as she has a real skill at drawing the audience in and making them sympathise with her, like in this movie. some funny scenes with the fairly godmother aka a man made this film a bit more uplifting. all in all, a good family watch, perfectly G and cute.

A wonderful film for the whole family. Martin Short makes a hilarious Fairy Godmother, or rather, a "Fairy Godfather" to Mara Wilson (she was in Matilda), who only wants her dad to be employed in the theatre buther wish goes astray and she must get the wand back from an evil witch played by Kathleen Turner, or her dad will become a statue! This movie was smart and fun, no bad language or adult themes but very entertaining.

A Simple wish is a very good movie for the kids to watch. I think everyone has a wish and wishes that they had a fairy god mother to look after them. This movie was enjoyed by myself and the kids and is cute, sweet and quite wholesome for them to watch as it has good values. A very good kids movie for all to enjoy

This is a very good kids movie, that is fun and entertaining. Martin Short makes a hilarious Fairy Godmother, or should I say "Fairy Godfather" to Mara Wilson, who only wants her dad to be in a broadway show, but gets mixed up and must stop an evil witch played by Kathleen Turner, or her dad will become a statue! This movie was smart and fun, and the "frog in your throat" scene was gross-out funny!
