I loved this DVD. You would have to love the simple life to buy this otherwise you wont be a fan.

I actually love this show! you may hear some negativity about the show, "you have the same IQ as Paris if u watch this"(a common comment), they are wrong. their stupidity is what makes the show! i cannot wait for new episodes! i will say, this show is not for young children. it is more for the older audience.

if you haven't seen the show before, basically, Paris and Nicole get jobs and tasks to do in different states...they pretty much goof off all the time and do what they please(things that would get any normal person fired from their job- or even arrested)...

you may think there would be boredom after so many episodes, but don't think that! Each season has its own flare to it. I wont ruin it, so you will just have to wait it to find out!

saw the episode when they were working for a funeral company and was absolutely disgusted by the lack of respect those girls showed to the body they were transporting and the way they were transferring the ashes from package to the next - they even used a vacuum cleaner to pick up some ones ashes.

They obviously have never lost anywhere otherwise how could an even minutely decent human being be that disrespectful.Its the same for anyone who found that remotely funny.

It goes without saying what a low opinion i hold of them they shouldn't be allowed to do that

I actually really love the simple life!! not so much a fan of paris hilton but nicole richie is hilarious! she definatley steals the show with her crackup antics and super funny one liners.!!! the girls realyl are funny when put into situations and an environment that they are not used to. its crazy to think that now nicole richie is one of the most stylish women in the world but looks as if she has anorexia and paris hilton is in jail!oh how times change!

The Simple Life is one of the low points of reality television, as Nicole and Paris go road tripping around America. While other programs of this nature allow at least a couple of the scenes to unravel on their own, it's obvious that everything in this series has been scripted in advanced, and the contrived situations are neither funny nor particuarly interesting. At least Nicole shows a bit of spark here and there, but you'll spend most of your time wondering if Paris has ever actually had a thought in her life.

this programme is alrite. Its funny in parts but most of the time is just annoying cos paris is so stupid and ditsy and it frustrates me. It is funny to see how they react to the things they have to do though. so if your a fan of the first season then get it, but if not steer clear.
