REDRUM! REDRUM! REDRUM! One of the most classic and iconic horror/thriller movies of all time. It's a true work of art from Stanley Kubrick starring Jack Nicholson and Shelley Duvall. It's a haunting piece of work that comes from the great mind of Stephen King. If you're looking for a classic that's going to give you a serious case of the wigging's, The Shining is perfect for you.

I had read the book years ago, but for some reason missed the movie. Jack Nicholson is a chamelean. What an incredible actor! The movie was everything I expected it to be ... and more.

The Shining is a classic. It is completely Kubrick, superbly made (love those steadicam shots) and quite unlike any other horror film I've ever seen. There are some good extras here (Vivian Kubrick's fly on the wall documentary is very interesting and shows what a hard time Shelley Duvall had). But the film itself is the drawcard - eerie, haunting and completely involving. A must see.
