The killer doll is back! The all-new film is the fifth in the popular series of Chucky ("Child's Play") horror comedies. Making his directorial debut is the franchise creator and writer of all five films, Don Mancini. The film introduces Glen (voiced by "The Lord of the Rings" star Billy Boyd), the orphan doll offspring of the irrepressible devilish-doll-come-to-life Chucky (again voiced by series star Brad Dourif) and his equally twisted bride Tiffany (again voiced by Jennifer Tilly). When production starts on a movie detailing the urban legend of his parents' lethal exploits, Glen heads for Hollywood where he brings his bloodthirsty parents back from the dead. The family dynamics are far from perfect as Chucky and Tiffany go Hollywood and get rolling on a new spree of murderous mayhem; much to gentle Glen's horror. Chucky can't believe that his child doesn't want to walk in his murdering footsteps, and star-struck Tiffany can't believe that the movie will star her favorite actress, Jennifer Tilly (playing herself), who soon becomes an unwitting hostess to this new family in more ways than one...

well i think all the chucky movies have been really stupid so when this came out i avoided it like the plague, but of course eventually someone wants to see it and as a good friend you decide to differ to their desicion. was it good, no. were any of them good, no. do i take these kind of movies too seriously, no. the whole chucky series just doesnt make me laugh or feel anything besides boredom and this more than the others.

I loved all the chucky movies but this one was ridiculous, it lost the whole point of the series, is really silly and stupid, it looks like the thunderbirds going crazy and killing people, the story is about the child of Chucky and his bride from earlier films, it was just so silly and didn't work, quite gorey but just not up to scratch, stick with the first 4

I love the chucky movies, they are a bit silly, but get past the doll and they are quite classic fun horror movies. Chucky is back hidden inside a new doll. the story sees the main character back and he is sent away from his mother as they think he is danger, no one believes him that his doll is alive they think he is just covering up for the horror he saw, if you liked the other chucky movies you'll like this, light hearted fun horror

This movie is funny as hell. I dont take any of the chuckie series with a strict movie critic persona as they are stupid as hell. But if you put that aside you can get alot of laughs from these "horror" movies. They should be in the comedy section in my opinion.

I hate this movie. this is actully one of the worst movies i have ever seen it is just so lame!!! i could bearly watch the whole thing it was just so boring. It is just a really bad film, you might like if if you have the right sort of sense of humor for it lol, zero out of ten for me though

This is the 5th instalment in the chucky series, it makes an attempt to be a more dramatical piece showing a doll with a sympathetic side but all in all it sucked, the 3 childs play films are the only good chuckies, this and bride of chucky sucks so bad, they have just killed the whole thing so badly

The chucky movies have always been trashy and camp. This one is just not that good. I am a huge John Waters fan and he really made the movie for me. I liked bride of chucky, I like Jennifer Tilly and she makes total fun of herself in this movie which is great, the extras are kind of funny, their kid looks like one of the twerps who used to be on shortland street. All in all it is a fun movie, but not amazing

this is another one in the chucky series, about a really horrible doll. this will make you think of dolls differently, and question their motives. this movie lost the plot a bit for me, i found it a bit of a laugh in places, and the dummy was obviously a dummy in some places. still managed to scare me though!

Ok this has gone way too far. I mean this one didn't really focus much on killing, just how the son didn't want to kill. I was hoping for a bit more blood and gore but yet again it was disappointing. If you are looking for a laugh then I guess you should watch the movie but to me it just seems pointless.
