this is one of the funniest movies if ever seen, definetly have to see this aswell as the other but my favourite was probably the second one but still this is a good one to watch the rip off ike every show their is a whole series of these movies and you need to watch them all they soo so so funny

INSTANT CLASSIC!!

Scary movie is "the film that started it all".

At the time - nothing else was comparable to the amount of obscene humour this movie introduced.

When i first watched this - It knocked my socks off, the funniest movie i had ever seen.

This movie takes from every movie - from scream all the way to the matrix. And recreates it in such a way that anybody, and i mean anybody - would find hillarious.

Reccomended viewing before you watch this one - Scream 1 & 2, I know what you did last summer and the blair witch project.

this movie was awesome. i loved how it was a spoof of other really popular horror movies, and was really just taking the piss out of them!! this movie was so funny and original, and has inspired other spoofs off of this one - date movie, not another teen movie.......

really a must watch for all of those up for a shamefull laugh!

This movie is hilarious. I have never laughed so much ever. It has great acting, affects, dialogue, and especially superb humour – everything you need in a great movie. The movie does have a few scenes that drag out but all in all it’s a must have for all comedy fans and is suitable for basically all ages. It’s a must have, so buy it – You will definitely won’t be disappointed. The best in the series

Very hilarious but disgusting in the same time :P
Anna Faris is great at acting and she can really change her whole reality character!

About the movie, if you are in the mode of laughing then what r u waiting for?! Just watch it and have fun!

I love this movie! It's hilarious and so original. Even though it's a typical teen movie, I recommend it for everyone. It's a great movie for all the family. Don't let the price sway you because it's loved by everyone and can be watched again and again.

this movie is absolutely hilarious! the first time that I saw it I couldnt not contain my laughter! though, i must admit that the humour is a little bit more for teenagers, and possibly the occasional(male) adult, lol. this is a definatley a film that you want your young childrent to be watching. but is is definatley something that I would reccomend to teenagers! definatley a good spoof

Quite a funny film spoofing horror films both old and new. Filled with all the classic gross out gags and idiotic stoner characters one comes to expect from a teen comedy, Those who enjoy spoofs should enjoy this one two. Now is a good time to check out this first of many Scary Movies.

What I didn't understand about Scary Movie was that most of the films it sends up (Scream, I Know What You Did Last Summer, etc.) were parodies of older horror movies themselves. Still, as far as dumb comedies go, this is one of the better ones, even if later additions to the series wound up being even funnier.

A parody of modern horror films about a group of teenagers who are being terrorised by a serial killer. Some of the send-ups include: "Scream", "I Know What You Did Last Summer", "The Blair Witch Project", "The Sixth Sense" and "The Matrix".
