Baron Manfred von Richthofen is the most feared and celebrated pilot of the German air force in World War I. To him and his companions, air combats are events of sporty nature, technical challenge and honourable acting, ignoring the terrible extent of war. But after falling in love with the nurse Kate, Manfred realizes he is only used for propaganda means. Caught between his disgust for the war, and the responsibility for his fighter wing, von Richthofen sets out to fly again.

the red baron was in my opinion a good movie that I thought was well written with a well thought out story line and a believable plot.The level of acting in this movie was of a good standard with all lines delivered in a well timed manner and it was this and the story lines as well as the interesting characters which made this movie enjoyable to watch.
If you enjoy a well made movie I think you will enjoy this movie and as such is recommended by me.
