An excellent movie by far! One of the most funnies and heart felt movies i have watched in a long time. To have a rat as the main character and a clutzy clumsy boy, it just makes this movie even better to watch. From the rats talking to the lightening zap of perfection, this movie delivers a most interesting story indeed. It also delivers a few nice morals as well as some advice that rings true to reality.

Well, I did enjoy the movie but I have trouble with the concept of a rat being a master chef.... and when all Remy the rat's relatives swarmed into action - first helping themselves from the restaurant storerooms and later when they helped Remy and our wimpy hero, Alfredo Linguini, to successfully run the restaurant after the kitchen staff had left the premises in horror, I would have left with them. So I guess it is probably a great movie if you like rats and have no qualms about eating with them. Incidentally the animation was great..... if you like watching rats swarming all over a kitchen;- very convincing.

I was very very impressed with Ratatouille, something i had not been with the recent animated efforts doing the rounds. I felt they had become stale with the basic same story setup of someone lost that needs to be found. THankfully this actually had an intruiging story and some of the best visuals i have ever seen in an animated feature. Great cinematography also, just a little too short on laughs to try and rival Toy Story
