On September 13th, 2000, Rage Against The Machine performed their last show as a band.
On that night, Rage proved once again that they were, without a doubt, one of the greatest rock bands to ever hit the stage. Thankfully, a camera crew and a sound crew were on hand to capture the show.
And now, at long last, comes the release of the dvd, Live At The Grand Olympic Auditorium. If you've ever been lucky enough to see Rage in concert, you know how intense and incredible they were. If you weren't lucky enough to see one of their shows, this concert will show you what you missed.
In addition to the last concert that Rage would ever perform, the DVD also includes bonus footage taken from the band's performance outside the 2000 Democratic National Convention in Los Angeles. The footage is raw, the performance is raw, and it is a stunning example of Rage's incredible mixture of music and politics. The dvd features all of the Rage hits, opening with "Bulls On Parade" and ending with "Freedom."
The dvd also features a guest performance from Cypress Hill on "How I Could Just Kill A Man." Rage also covers the MC5 classic "Kick Out The Jams."
Live At The Olympic Auditorium is an absolute, without-a-doubt must-have for every single Rage Against The Machine fan.
