Quantum Leap was such a creative show because it always left room for something different and unique. I am surprised it never kept going but by far Season 1 had some of the best storylines and thrills. there was something special and practical about the series as well as the main character Sam, had to always save or impact the lives of other people - always unto the good. Thats an edifying show...Great
I loved Quantum Leap long before I saw the TV show and it was a wonderful rush to see how good the show really is. The visual effects may be dated, but the plot lines and the acting are immortal. I wanted to see more of Ziggy and Goushie and the project, but aside from the lit highway up to the complex this side remains a mystery which the second series may clear up for me :).
This show is a classic. Sure, it’s fairly eighties and predictable in some ways but the variety of characters that this guy gets to play are just pure entertainment. You can’t help but think to yourself “what would I do in this situation, how would I act?” Even after all these years I still get a laugh from the stunts these guys pull.
