Synopsis
The Predator is back - this time hunting Los Angeles. It comes from a distant world to hunt people for sport. Invisible and armed with powerful weapons unlike anything we know, it stalks its human quarry mercilessly, leaving mangled corpses in its wake. Last time it landed in the jungle - this time its chosen LA. Ravaged by open warfare between rival drug gangs, LA is the perfect killing ground for the Predator, who is driven by heat and conflict. When the police find a mutilated body, lieutenant Mike Harrigan (Danny Glover) thinks its the work of the feuding gangs. Then a mysterious government agent (Gary Busey) arrives and orders him to stay off the case. Instead, Harrigan sets out to learn what is really going on and comes face to face with a savage alien in a climactic, electrifying confrontation.

As far as sequels goes this was pretty good, with a new predator coming to earth, only to LA instead of the jungle. Great story about the predator getting between gang war and picking off policemen that get too close to him too. Danny Glover does a fine job of filling Arnie's shoes, and if you enjoyed the first one but don't own this one then now's the perfect time to pick up this 2 disc edition.
Lt. Harrigan (Danny Glover) is a cop fighting the good war against drugs. But recently, the major drug lords have been killed off in a very brutal fashion. His superiors tell him to stay out of it, but Harrigan knows that something is wrong. His instincts are right when he discovers that the person behind the murders is none other than the Predator, the human-hunting alien who likes to make trophies out of his victims' skulls. But how can Harrigan stop the Predator when it can turn invisible and kill him without him knowing it?
This mopvoe sucked so bad, predator in the city, seriosuly really half assed attempt to make a sequel to a superb arnie film, to bad coz it was great, i just thought this was ways to cheesy and too desperate to make the mopney from its prequel, you might like it htough
Well, it is. Kevin Peter Hall again did a great job as the Predator, who this time is hunting in Los Angeles. Good to see it's not more gore or less gore than the first movie, because i feel if it were or weren't it wouldn't be the same. Well, actually i don't think you would call it gore!
Danny Glover must hunt down and kill the Predator before it causes more destruction and i thought he was Ok in his role. I don't think this is as good as the original, but it's still a fun movie and the Predator, as usual, looks fantastic! The special effects are amazing for 1990 and i'll always enjoy watching this movie.
It's very worthy!
Not quite as fun to watch as the first one, but at least the idea of killer aliens unleashed and trying to take over a large city is interesting to watch unfold. The action is pretty full on and the ending is quite satisfying to an extent. Danny Glover is never going to replace Arnie but still does a good job, although the scenario behind the people chasing the predators isn't as fun.
um yeah nowhere near the best predator and no where near as good as the first one but no one really expected that. i thought this was going to be the movie that would end the franchise but no the soldiered on and made another couple. im not really a fan of this movie and i dont really think its worth watching as its no masterpiece but if your a fan of the franchise then i can imagine someone really liking this.

The Superb Cast and Original Writers led people to believe this would be as good as the first film. While its no where near it on a quality level, it is still a good watch especially with all the good actors on screen.
