I hadn't seen many disaster movies before this one, they are quite depressing, this one I liked enough because it had a lot of good cast members, but overall it was fairly tense to see people get themselves out of a sinking ship and watch as they don't all make it. I like leading man Josh Lucas and the boy Jimmy Bennett is a good kid actor, but it still wasn't entirely enjoyable.
