What a beautiful series. I find myself watching these over and over again. Sir David Attenborough is amazing, and I did find that I missed him being in the actual series rather than just narrating, I guess he is getting older like the rest of us, and his crew did a fantastic job. There are a few scenes that I will certainly never forget. Great DVD

What a series and what a show case of the world. The images of Planet Earth are simply astounding and are unlike anything you have ever seen before. I know what your thinking, ive seen lots of those documentaries on Fox, i dont need to buy this expensive set and be bored to death, but trust me you wont be. It is simply amazing and is miles above the productions values of the docos on the Discovery Channel you see daily, not to be missed

This is one of the most astonishing nature documentaries ever made. The footage gathered together for this series is stunning, much of it quite simply amazing. Many, many years in the making, the team behind this have managed to film so much that has never been seen before. Gobsmacking images abound. This is must have, even at this price. Even if you don't normally like this sort of thing, you will amazed at what you see. Landmark. Grounbreaking.
