Documentary celebrating the 20th anniversary of the popular American rock band Pearl Jam. Pearl Jam were formed in Seattle in 1990 and soared to fame on the back of the success of fellow Seattle-based grunge band Nirvana. Led by frontman Eddie Vedder, the band gradually carved out their own identity in the mainstream and often refused to conform to industry standards - for example, their lengthy refusal to make music videos. This documentary tells the story of the band from their formation to the present day and features contributions from such music luminaries as Neil Young, Chris Cornell and Layne Staley. |
