Yes One Tree Hill is another teenage soap series that you could see yourself getting frustrated with BUT not in this case. I really enjoy this programme. It relates to the love lives of young adults and helps you to reflect on your own lives. It shows how mistakes can easily be made, by all, mostly the adults. And it helps having sooooooo many good looking people to look at!!!! Life is not all black and white, so this series is good for all those teenages,who just might need something to relate to.
I'm a 17 year old girl who likes to think that I'm not into all that dramatic teenage junk. Then I saw this show. Absolutely fantastic, I just can't get enough. Compelling viewing, likeable characters, a bit of humour, and good storylines. This season doesn't end with a huge cliffhanger or anything, but it is still very enjoyable to watch. I'd especially recommend this to anyone interested in Neighbours or Home and Away because, although it far surpasses the quality and content of those programs, it is similar enough to be of interest to that audience.
I'm not a teenager but I enjoy the show. I was always wishing my life was more interesting back then and this show strikes me as that kind of idea. The cast is full of pretty people and they act more like their real twenty something ages than the 16 or 17 year olds they're supposed to be, frequently making very mature observations and insights but I think that makes them good role models for effective communication in teens. The relationships are appropriately over dramatic, as all teen relationships are, but compelling. The older characters are one dimensional and sometimes so are the storylines.
A TV series that would appeal from teens through to 40's in my opinon. I love the show with it's secrets, romance and drama - great to sit back and wind down from the day with. Series revolves around the loves and lives of two core families in a small town.
