I generally like heist movies but Oceans Twelve wasn't anything like as good as Oceans Eleven, and not even close to The Italian Job. The premise of the movie is complicated yet mostly coherent. Where the movie really falls short is the actors-as a previous reviewer put it, a bunch of overpaid actors hamming it up for the camera. If you like heist movies for the sake of heist movies then go for it, but otherwise leave it be.
Ocean's Twelve is a great movie, very different to Ocean's Eleven. The plot is constantly twisting and suprising, and can only be understood fully at the end. It is a tale of the greatest criminals in the world and their families, as they use humour and ingenuity to once again escape the hands of Terry Benedict and make a fortune in the process!
I cant stand this movie, the first one was remotly bareable but this one is beyond bad, ist just so much worse than the first one was, seriosuly if you thought oceans 11 was not bad or bad then i would recomend not watching this at all, only watch it if tyou thought the first one was absolutly hot s**t
what an excellent sequel to a great film! the best bit in this second movie featuring danny ocean and his clever troop is when they want danny's wife (played by julia roberts) to pretend to be julia roberts in order to distract some men, they put a pillow under her dress because julia would be heavily pregnant by the time the movie came out
Why did they make this? It's nowhere near as good as Oceans 11. It starts off OK but quickly decays into a confusing, pointless mess. A bunch of overpaid actors/esses hamming it up for the camera.
this follow up to the oceans 11 isnt really nearly as good as the other one, not leastly because oceans 12 is not nearly as catchy as oceans 11. the storyline gets a bit stale in this one, as its all been done a bit too much before, and its really predictabel, with none of the clever parts of the first one. all the faves resume their roles thoguh, such as brad pitt.
This isnt as good as the first one (oceans 11) and im not saying that oceans 11 was good, as i think it wasnt very good at all, but this one is worse and the worst thing is there is going to be oceans 13 coming out soon, still if you liked the original 1 you may very well like this one
