I enjoyed Notting Hill a lot. It might be because it's among one of the first chick flicks I've ever seen (which of course, sent me on a chick flick watching spree in later years), but it might just be because this is a good movie. It lets us dream and think "what if?" and those kinds of movies are always great to watch. The chemistry between Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts was pretty undeniable, which enhanced the movie all the more!
I saw this movie 4 times in the theater. I absolutely loved this movie! The acting and directing were excellent. The performances of Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant could NOT have been better. The movie was very funny (the audience rolled with laughter) and was romantic. The music was excellent too.
If you haven't seen this movie, you must rent or buy it. I own it and have seen it approximately 12 times.
This movie is #8 on my list of Favorite 100 movies of all-time.
