This time round Freddy is trying to pick off the last of the Elm street kids, who are now in an institute due to their nightmares. Nancy returns to help these kids out as Freddy starts to pick them off. Mildly hinting at the background of Freddys past, Wes Craven wrote, but didn't direct this griopping horror. A much better movie than the previous one, this is a definate must have for the horror fans out there.
Picking up where the original Nightmare left off, Nancy has grown up and become a psychiatrist specializing in dream therapy. She meets a group of children at a local hospital facing Freddy Krueger, the same demon she once encountered in her sleep. One of them is Kristen, who has the power to draw other people into her dreams. Working with a male doctor assigned to the case, Nancy helps the kids realize their special abilities within the nightmare world. When Freddy captures one of her charges, she leads a rescue attempt into Krueger's domain, in hopes of putting his spirit to rest once and for all.
this is another addition to the nightmare on elms street series. it is good but i am not a big fan of unneccasry nudity. the blood and gall is good. however it has its cheesy moments. over all it is good but not as good as the first one.
If you enjoy the nightmare on elm street series you will enjoy this one as well, freddy is back with another group of kids to torment, whilst not that scarey, it has all the usual teen horror scares and the typical freddy humour, an oldie but a good, i love the whole series.
I liked this movie. It didn't really scare me that much, actually some parts I found quite comical, however it was a good film and it had a good plot line. It was well thought out and had a great impact. The story of Freddy killing the kids in their dreams was a great one that I really liked.
