This wasn't a bad adaptation of the book but it is such a detailed book it's hard to do it justice. The sequels were dreadful. The story is about a teased boy named Bastien who finds himself in a sort of magical book he acquires from a second hand bookshop. It's quite an amazing magical adventure and the acting isn't bad. I preferred the book though by far.
