Muppet Treasure Island is another hilarious addition to the Muppet archive. Forget Pirates of the Carribean, if you want to have your laughs at sea, have them with Kermit, Miss Piggy and... the man who lives in the orange dude's finger. As well as all this, there is some classy human acting as well on the part of Long John Silver and his pirates!

A rather silly adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's "Treasure Island". Very inaccurate but hilariously funny - as all muppet movies are. Real people acting is rather wooden but this is compensated for by Kermit and Miss Piggy, along with Ratty and co. continuously appearing at unexpected moments with cameras. Enjoyable for all

Some Muppet Movies are better than others - this is one of those better ones. The storyline has all the muppet humour and characters, while the live actors integrate themselves into the scenes well. This is definitely a movie for young kids to enjoy, and their parents with them (the humour is adult applicable at levels). One of the best parts is Kermit goin wild with a sword. Special edition is probably even better.

A good, funny kids' movie that always makes me laugh - Miss Piggy rules! Cheerfully amusing, with highlights including Rizzo the Rat's tour group trotting aboard the pirate ship, a fantastic Long John Silver, and a talented young man playing Jim Hawkins. Billy Connolly plays a brief cameo role - but the star of the show is undoubtedly Piggy.

Muppet treasure island
I haven't watched this is a long time, but I absolutely loved it when it first came out. The story of treasure island with the muppets and their wonderful humour interjected. This one is definately good for young and old, and its pretty timeless.

Treasure Island gets the Muppet treatments! Not as accomplished as the Muppet Christmas carol, it's still a worthy addition to any Muppet collection, and a piratey-booty of fun! The last of the great Muppet cinema-released movies.
