Absolutely gorgeous movie, you'll find yourself singing 'hey nonny nonny' for days afterwards! It is a wonderful adaptation of the play and the scenery is stunning. Very funny and it ends up just as you'd want it to. Watch it.

This is a fantastic film which is so true to Shakespeare's script it can be used as revision. My students loved it.

Brilliantly funny!
Loaded with famous stars who all do a brilliant job. High ligths are Emma Thompson, Kenneth Brannagh, Richard Briers and Denzel Washington.
The plot is great - Shakespeare is so timeless. Even if you think you won't understand the language, give it a go - the actors are amazing and it will ake you laugh again and again.
A lovely, funny, heartwarming, brilliant movie!

Although not as gobsmackingly audacious as Branagh's earlier "Henry V", this film is still a wonderfully entertaining version of the play that looks fantastic, and has a great cast (Keanu excepted; sorry Keanu but you are a bit too sulky and wooden) that look like they are having a whale of a time. The comedy is sparkling, Beatrice and Benedict are great, even Dogberry isn't too annoying. A great time for all.
