This Is It features the music that inspired Sony Pictures' forthcoming film MICHAEL JACKSON'S THIS IS IT.

Disc one will feature the original album masters of some of Michael's biggest hits arranged in the same sequence as they appear in the film. The disc ends with two versions of the never-released "This Is It." This song is featured in the film's closing sequence and includes backing vocals by Michael's brothers, the Jacksons.

Disc two offers previously unreleased versions of some of the artist's classic tracks. This disc also features a touching spoken word poem from Michael Jackson entitled "Planet Earth" that has never been heard before.

The two-disc This Is It is a stand-alone companion to the motion picture and includes a 36-page, commemorative booklet featuring exclusive photos of Michael from his last rehearsal.

I am a big Michael Jackson and fan love this album so much, it is a great collection of his greatest hits and more. I quite like the brand new song "This is it" and the demos and the poem is great. I got the Souviener Edition and the booklet was great, it has great pictures from the tour. But I feel like they could have added more of his greatest song with where included in the tour. So overall i was quite pleased with this cd and this is a must for fans of Michael.

This cd is Michael at his best or the best of Michael culminated in this cd lifetime. I love it. Even at 50years his voice was still pure and soulful. Here's the thing with Michael, his dancing was so awesome. When Michael danced, it was drama and lightening and pure excitement, like a scary,thrilling movie that had you sitting on the edge of your seat, causing tension in your body and only finding release when he and the danced reached its crescendo and then allowed you to exhale your own breathe, in total acceptance. But, that distinct voice of his what another matter. It's what drew you in in the first instance. I remember when he was the J5, 9 years old, and my friends and I were in out teens then. That soulful voice of his had us screaming for more. A nine year old with a voice so beautiful. That's why Michael had so many fan, true blue fans that is, because when he sang he was speaking to each one of us in that audience, through every song that he sang.That's why we cant forget him.

When you watched the movie, you'll think that you're watching him perform live in stage. He performed well even though they're only rehearsing. You can also see Michael Jackson do all his best to perfect this concert. When I also heard all the songs from the movie, it was like I want to dance. When I received the CD, there was a poem in 2nd CD it's good. I recommend this CD "This Is It" to all fans of pop songs and Michael Jackson.

I absolutely love this cd, but then again, I am a huge MJ fan. I would recommend it to anyone that enjoys his music. The man is a genius. For any of his fans out there, I would recommend you buy his book, Dancing The Dream. Totally awesome. I only hope that Sony will release the movie "This is It" to dvd in region 1, which is this part of the world!
