Where do I start?
The Matrix trilogy truly has carved its own niche in terms of having an imaginative story, amazing special effects, great characters, great character development.
If you enjoyed the first movie for what it had to offer, particularly the theme of the plot and the special effects, then this movie definitely will not disappoint. I have heart a lot of people that didn't enjoy it as much as the first because it doesn't have a clear format of a movie (plot development to a finale) as it is the middle movie in a trilogy. I personally loved it and was so desperate to see it as soon as it came out and learn more about this imaginative world that they have produced.
The Matrix trilogy is a serious of moves that I have bought to keep for a long time come. Great stuff!

Not the usual Hollywood happy ending to a majory blockbuster. The use of neo as the machine saviour is rather unsetteling but very interesting. It does however may dissappoint a lot of fans with the ending. Never the less a very enjoyable movie and the special effects are worth the price of the DVD, As the end of a sequel I would rate this 6 out of 10.

a disappointing end to an amazing trilogy. i hate how trinity ends up dying (espcially after that spectacular romance in the second move reloaded), and the ending is so ambiguous and confusing it is a bit frustrating. still you can not deny the visual effects are amazing, and the scene with millions of hugo weavings is unforgettable

This is the ultimate ending to the matrix movies. The best part is in the end where neo has to fight the agent guy...and he just rips him to shreds because hes just way to powerful, and morphues said it in the first "theres no way an agent or computer program can ever be as powerful as a human" and so neo smashes his face off...great movie

Bad Sequel to Un - original rip-off original.
The Matrix is a rip off of 'Dark City' which is an amazing and brilliant film.
It is a dark time for the world. Neo is trapped in the "Train Station", between the Matrix and the Source. Zion is doomed to be crushed under an unstoppable army of countless Sentinels. But it is not only the human race that is in peril. The machines press ever onward against the humans, unaware that one force within the Matrix has slowly been growing, and has taken over that world completely: Smith. There is only one hope for both races, the one force that can stop Smith, and that is Neo. One final battle must ensue. And the outcome of this battle will decide the fate and future of both races.
Here we got a very bad film. It is lame and not worth watching.
I suggest passing on this. It's a lame-o film. The Matrix was not bad, but nothing great. Here, we got crap.

The final installment in the Matrix trilogy series. The machine army has reached Zion and is poised for attack. Neo must face agent Smith, his nemesis throughout the series, and destroy him. He travels deep into the machine city to resolve the conflict and save Zion and the human race from destruction.

Let's get one thing straight: "The Matrix Revolutions" has none of the reality-bending plot twists nor the eye-opening originality of the first. The final chapter in the trilogy is an altogether different type of movie. Although it cannot compete against the original, it competes strongly against other entries in the action/adventure genre. With the requisite battle scenes that pit the underdog against a superpower, "The Matrix Revolutions" is a fast-paced, adrenalin-packed movie that owes its entertainment to action and special effects. Despite this, the viewer must listen and watch carefully, as in the other two, to understand why events unfold as they do.

I never saw The Matrix on the big screen, in fact I had never heard of it till it came out on DVD. I watched it and was amazed. Such a unique take on a familiar concept (Dark City anyone?). New and fantastic special effects and good flowing and thought provoking dialogue. This was surely a film that the filmmakers could see as risky, since all the special effects were groundbreaking and cost so much. Adding to the problems was that it starred Mr. Whoa!, Keanu Reeves, who I feel has never proven himself a strong lead in any role. In sense I could tell they were holding back what they were capable of, mostly due to lack of money. In time The Matrix became a huge success and the Wachoski's had all the money they would ever need. With the money came the possibilities of a sequel. (it seems these days that if any film makes enough money that it deserves a sequel.) Well the ideas started brewing and soon Reloaded and Revolutions were announced and then filmed back to back.
