Five years after I Love Lucy stopped production, The Lucy Show went into rehearsals. On Lucy's request, Desi Arnaz stepped into the producer role and Vivian Vance came out of retirement to help her red haired buddy. The Lucy Show debuted on television on October 1, 1962 and was ranked in the top ten of the American TV ratings until the show ended in 1968.

It is so amazing after all those years that Lucy is back as DVD! I though I would never watch the show again. This show was one of my daily fun in black and white.... (We had only black and white TV then) and it is good to see her back. The stories of each episode is fun and enjoyable. Perhaps today's standard it may a bit too obvious and slow in pace but who cares, it is Lucy!
