i didnt really enjoy this movie much. it had a weak storyline, and the main characters (christina milian and nick cannon) didnt do much for the movie. i wouldnt recommend it unless you intended to be disappointed, cause that it what you will get from watching this poor attempt at a teen comedy

You couldn't have paid me to go see this movie. I thought it was going to be wack, overused, and corny. But my mother bought the DVD and I watched it over the holidays. I thought it was great. I loved how Nick Cannon had the opportunity to show his charismatic personality in the guitar scene. I didn't like his hair either way he styled it, but I liked his transformation. His friends were realistically nerdy (not over the top--minus the entrance to the car scene) and the story fell into place nicely.
Steve Harvey was funny as usual and Christina Milian played her part quite nicely. She was much better as an actress in this movie than she was in Be Cool. The only scene I didn't like was the clapping scene in the gym--way too far out. I just thought this was a good movie that took me back to my memories in high school

Love Dont Cost a Thing is another lame movie about kids in high school wanting to be everything that they are not. Alvin wants to be cool and popular and is willing to give up everything to do this. But will Paris turn around and help him without him losing his future. Blah blah blah this is the worst attempt at a ugly duckling movie yet

love don't cost a thing is a movie about people who change coz other people want them too. it shows how one guy changed the way he looks acts and what he does just to be liked. with a great soundtrack and cast love don't cost a thing is a superb movie for the younger teens to young adults.

great movie. kept me laughing the whole entire time. my family and i loved it. if you are in the mood for a bit of lighthearted comedy then this is the movie for you! either rent it from your local video store, buiy it from a movie shop--OR even better, purchase it of fishpond with your points! its such a good buy, you should all go out and watch it! great movie i think!~
