An iconic 80's movie and a complete must-have for horror fans. It's all there, horror, comedy, Corey Haim... A complete deviation from all other vampire flicks of it's time - or any other for that matter. A fairly original script with good acting from a teen cast. Even Dianne Weist as the mum is endearing. It's easy to see the lure of the vampire lifestyle - but much more fun to watch the Coreys driving stakes through the hearts of evil adolescent biker vampires.

A mother and her two sons move to a small coast town in California. The town is plagued by bikers and some mysterious deaths. The younger boy makes friends with two other boys who claim to be vampire hunters while the older boy is drawn into the gang of bikers by a beautiful girl. The older boy starts sleeping days and staying out all night while the younger boy starts getting into trouble because of his friends' obsession.

This is such a brilliant movie with a fabtastic cast to support. The real breakout performance of Kiefer Sutherland displayed the great acting that was to come from him in the years ahead. Also great acting by corey hartman. A fantastic 80's horror flick that introduced many to the genre. A msut have.

A great movie.

Not full of any folklore stuff like a lot of the other vampire movies youll see in your lifetime.

just a simple movie about a group of boys with one thing in common..,. theyre vampires.

and of course it wouldnt be a typical vampire movie without a hint of romance and some infighting.

yeah a really cool movie by eighties standards and still a pretty cool movie with a great kitchy retro factor which makes this a funny and also very funny vampire flick with kiefer sutherland. has some great scenes that have stuck with me since i was a child , ive never really been able to look at fried rice the same since i saw this movie.

Really great. The whole family loved this. Very unexpected and hugely entertaining. Combining horror with some wonderfully quirky and hilarious moments and a great soundtrack as well. The cast is marvellous and the story set at a brisk pace. Thoroughly enjoyed every moment from start to finish. It continues to be a family favourite.

I really love this movie and i think that it is one of the better vampire moveis. the actoin is good and the horror will keep you going through this whole movie. the script is written well and the acting is very beleivable.
many horror fans wil love it and enjoy it just as i had.

Now this is a fantastic Vampire movie and makes up for Schumachers ordinary Batman movies. There is a stellar cast including the like of Kiefer Sutherland, Jason Patric, Corey Feldman, Corey Haim, Jami Gertz and even Dianne Wiest. The multiple storylines of the younger and older brothers work terrificly well together and the effects still hold up today. This set is great including a Schumacher commentary and numerous featurettes, including what all fans of the movie want: An analysis of the 2 Coreys and the Frogg Brothers team.
