Ever wondered what Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt would look like as Vampires? This movie gives you exactly that. It chronicles the life of Louis (Pitt) was seducued and sired by Lestat (Cruise) to live the rest of eternity as a vampire. With a great cast including Antonia Banderas and Kirsten Dunst's movie debut and it's mixture of horror and comedy it's bound to delight and captivate audiences od both genres. Highly recommended.

Great movie, Tom Cruise's character is quite entertaining and the perfect opposite to Brad Pitt's role. And I'm not a fan of either actor! Kirsten Dunst is brilliant as the child vampire and there are some genuinely funny parts, as well as the just plain creepy. Great for people who like a bit of horror, but not too much!

One of the best Vampire movies made. I loved Brad, Tom and Antonio in this (mind, I'm not a fan of Tom Cruise) If you're a vampire junkie, definitely worth buying.

One of the BEST movie I've seen ever!!! If you like vampire stories, then nothing beats Anne Rice's vampire stories. I have to say that I was thrilled when this movie came to the big screen (although I have only read the translated version then), and I loved it to bits. Beautifully done, the set, the costumes, the make up, the music, I love everything about the movie. Definitely worth having this as one of your collections.

A story about the bitter-sweet birth and existence of a creature of the night!
I would have to say that this movie portrays the depths of this like no other, stretching throughout the ages, portraying how one would progress as immortal; feeling so alive, free and powerful at the beginning to discovering the pain this would bring.
As we've all come to know and love, Brad Pitt shines throughout this film as does a young Kirsten Dunst as a child Vampire. As good a role as you will get from Cruise, this film does portray the great story by Anne Rice well.
Definitely a movie you'll want in your collection for timeless viewing.

If you haven't read Interview with the Vampire, you won't be dissappointed. Brad Pitt really stole the show for me from Tom Cruise's lead of Lestat. To be quite honest, I never really saw Cruise in this role. He isn't gothic or dark enough to play Lestat, and the Lestat I invisaged while reading the novel had a certain wildness to him and allure, which I found Tom Cruise lacked, but Brad Pitt had with leaps and bounds. If anything, they should have switched roles in this movie. Brad totally was a better pick for Lestat I thought.
Kirsten Dunst on the otherhand was the perfect cast for the childe vampire. She is fantastic, and if she can keep up with this level of acting, then she's well and truly Oscar material.
Read the book I say, the movie only does it partial justice.

It hadn't even been a year since a plantation owner named Louis had lost his wife, and now he had lost his will to live. A vampire named Lestat takes a liking to Louis and offers him the chance to become a creature of the night: a vampire. Louis accepts, and Lestat drains Louis' mortal blood and then replaces it with his own turning Louis into a vampire. Louis must learn from Lestat the ways of the vampire.

This movie sheds the light on what so many vampire movies were trying to do. Many famous people were in this movie however I was so inraveled by this fast paced story that I could ot pick out where I saw them all. I did not enjoy some parts. the ending along with the begining was so good that i feel it was worth it through out this dark and meaningful movie.
